In true BANG spirit, 13th Avenue is running BANG
3: Eyes Wide Open on May 31, 2003.
Join us for the second installment of the Bay Area Night Game, a night-time
treasure hunt adventure started by David Alyea.
The first BANG was
held in mid-November, and as winners of the inaugural event, we have accepted
the challenge to run BANG 2.
This time, however, the event will be held not in San Francisco, but
on our turf, the Stanford University campus...

WHAT:
BANG 2: BANG Harder
WHEN:
Saturday, January 11, 2003, 7:30 PM
Try to arrive between 7:00 and 7:15 as we will start promptly at 7:30.
WHERE:
Stanford University
Meet at Angell
Field. You should be able to park in the adjacent Park &
Ride lot.
BRING:
Mandatory: headlamp and/or flashlight; a cell phone; pen and paper;
$5 entry fee per person
Optional: backpack (you will have to carry something we give you);
a "blinky" light or safety vest; clipboard; calculator; water/drink; something
light to eat
Maps and other necessary materials will be provided. All of the
clues are designed to be solved without external help.
Your $5 entry fee will be used for prizes and clue construction.
RULES:
No running, but we encourage you to walk as fast as you like.
Hints cost 10 minutes.
Team size limited to 4, though teams may work together if they desire.
